Meet Paul Vickers

Paul Vickers is a respected community leader who was elected as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Bruce–Grey–Owen Sound on February 27th, 2025.

Born and raised in the Municipality of Meaford, Paul has deep roots in the region and a demonstrated record of leadership in agriculture, municipal governance and business management. He has successfully managed his family’s third-generation dairy farm near Meaford for over three decades and has served on the boards of the Gay Lea Foods Co-operative and the Ontario Federation of Agriculture. He previously served as a Councillor for the Municipality of Meaford and has been involved in many community organizations.

Paul was named Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Agriculture, Food, and Agribusiness in March 2025, and remains a strong advocate for Ontario’s $52-billion agri-food industry. At Queen’s Park, Paul advocates for fiscal responsibility, Ontario’s agri-food sector, and rural issues.

Paul Vickers and the Ontario PC Party will continue to prioritize the people of Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound by focusing on reducing costs, expanding access to health care, creating opportunities for local families and businesses, and investing in critical infrastructure, including the ongoing refurbishment of the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station.

Paul lives on his family’s dairy farm in Meaford with his wife, Karen. Paul and Karen have four adult children. In his spare time, Paul enjoys working on his farm, spending time with family, connecting with nature on a hiking trail, and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
